When I was growing up, my dad had big house plants he would tend to. And I remember when we would visit other people’s homes and he would ask for a cutting of their plants. No one else we knew ever did that! At the time, I was thinking this is so weird—it’s not like McDonald’s where you can take some extra ketchup! But lo and behold today I find myself itching to ask the same thing whenever I see a candidate to add to my 100+ plant collection with special love for ferns and pothos. In addition, my Floating Greenhouse serves as a plant sanctuary and springboard for ideas and inspiration. For awhile, my passion has been to create nourishing, plantified environments for my clients—to raise their families in, work in, get married in or host with love. This dream is coming into fruition day by day. And my other passion is traveling to buy more plants.
